Pet of the Month

My name is Monty, and I was born in March of 2024, just outside of Drayton Valley. There were lots of dogs where I lived, which meant I was never alone—but sometimes it could feel a little big and a little scary for a small pup like me.

Then one very special day, I met my mom and dad—you know them as RED and David—and I went home with them. That’s when my real adventure began. We lived in a small town where I had a big backyard to explore, and I loved every bit of it. My dad took me on the best long walks, and I learned quickly that life could be full of love, treats, and new smells to discover.

This year I moved to Three Robins Apartments with my buddy Louis (the family cat), and my mom and dad. I get gentle hugs and kind smiles from the lovely residents, and I try my best to give them a wag or two in return.

I have just joined the Pet Club, and I’ll be honest—I’m still a little shy. I like to watch first and take my time meeting everyone. But I’m working on it, one small step (and sniff) at a time.

I may be a little quiet, but I’m incredibly happy to be here. I think I’ve found my people.

Love, Monty
